Ride for the Kids

Some people dream of success. We make it happen.

Team Bayview Towing is dedicated to supporting and raising awareness for the Canucks for Kids Fund in support of Canuck Place. Thanks to our members and sponsors we have raised over $800,000 to date.

This years 18th anniversary ride will take place on Wednesday July 10, 2024

J Ban Racing is celebrating 25 years as a team of cyclists and friends who have logged a lot of miles on their bikes since 1998!  5 original members still going strong.

What is the RIDE FOR THE KIDS?

This years Ride will start at C&D Logistics in South Surrey. We will ride out to Dave Lede House, Canuck Place, at the Abbotsford Hospital for a visit with some folks and return to C&D  Logistics early afternoon for lunch. Our ride is escorted by volunteers from local police forces and the Bayview Towing truck and is roughly 100Km. Cancks Mascot FIN will be on hand at both locations. Come out and join us.

We have a variety of sponsors, varying from non-profit to corporate to retail. Although our sponsors have ranged in size from small local businesses to large corporations, they have all been very supportive of our efforts and their generosity is much appreciated.

 

2023 Ride for the Kids Cheque Presentation

The 2023 Ride for the Kids Cheque presentation was made at Dave Lede House in Abbotsford on April 9, 2024. Riders and sponsors were on hand to present an $25000 cheque to support the Children and families of Canuck Place.

Team members on hand at Langley MEC's Bikefest in June, Nitrolube's booth at the Outdoor and Travel show and C&D Logistics Family Day event, spreading the word about the Ride for the Kids!
