Ride for the Kids

Some people dream of success. We make it happen.

This year, 2026, marks our 20th Anniversary and possibly our final Ride for the Kids

​

For 20 years this group of people have been coming out in July and riding, and raising awareness and most importantly funds for The Canucks for Kids Fund and the Canuck Place Children's Hospice. These immensely needed funds benefit the Children and their families that are in need of this facility.  To date we have raised over $830 K and we have one last year to do it big.  This years ride is on Wednesday July 8. For the 20th year, Canucks Fin will be on hand stealing the show at the finish at Bayview Towings office near the Truck border crossing in South Surrey. Year 19 is in the books. It was a rainy miserable day but approximately 20 riders braved the cool wet weather to come out one more time to Ride for the Kids. All proceeds going to the Canucks For Kids Fund, benefitting the kids and families of Canuck Place Children's Hospice

What is the RIDE FOR THE KIDS?

This years Ride will start at Bayview Towing in South Surrey. We will ride out to Dave Lede House, Canuck Place, at the Abbotsford Hospital for a visit with some folks and return to Bayview Towing in the early afternoon for lunch. Our ride is escorted by volunteers from local police forces and the Bayview Towing truck and is roughly 100Km. Cancks Mascot FIN will be on hand at both locations. Come out and join us.

We have a variety of sponsors, varying from non-profit to corporate to retail. Although our sponsors have ranged in size from small local businesses to large corporations, they have all been very supportive of our efforts and their generosity is much appreciated.

 

2023 Ride for the Kids Cheque Presentation

The 2023 Ride for the Kids Cheque presentation was made at Dave Lede House in Abbotsford on April 9, 2024. Riders and sponsors were on hand to present an $25000 cheque to support the Children and families of Canuck Place.
